Comedian Andy Dick was recently found unresponsive on the streets of Hollywood, leaving fans distressed after shocking images of him passed out went viral.

According to reports from local media outlets, Dick was said to have suffered from an apparent drug overdose on Tuesday. Witnesses shared his face and hands turning blue in color and him becoming non-responsive, prompting bystanders and pals nearby to administer Narcan.

This is the name of the opioid overdose reversal medication, provided several times. Emergency responders from the LA Fire Department and LAPD later arrived at this scene.

Dick regained consciousness and was ultimately rushed to the hospital. After this incident, sources shared more about how he’s alive and believed to be doing okay, but no further details were revealed regarding the incident.

Later, the star gave out a bizarre account, talking about how he used crack cocaine with a stranger shortly before he collapsed on the ground.

He did insist that he’s 110% fine and does not plan on entering rehab anytime soon, despite this near-fatal scare. As a whole, what started as a frightening medical emergency ended with Dick conscious but continued to grapple with addiction amid growing public scrutiny.
