Fans of the popular show American Horror Story are threatening to boycott the series after the new cast for the 12th season was announced today.
Despite there being an entire list filled with famed personalities, it appears that Kim Kardashian is one name that fans aren’t keen on seeing.
Kim Kardashian surprised many people after the show’s producers made a special mention of hers in the lineup but it appears the news kind of went downhill as just a few moments later, people were quick to express their dismay.
There is a long list of celebrities that are going to feature in the scary and gruesome series including Lady Gaga, Adam Levine, and supermodel Naomi Campbell but it was only the Kardashian that fans had a problem with.
Season 12 will soon be out in the summer of 2023, and with just months away from the release date, getting this much negative publicity is not going to be great for the show, sources have mentioned.
All in all, there were a few people who were surprised at how negative some fans were at the sounds of Kim featuring in the show. Fans of the star were quick to mention how they were looking forward to seeing her take part for the first time.
For now, it’s not clear what role exactly she will be playing but it’s definitely going to be an interesting twist as we hardly see the famous SKIMS owner and socialite take on such roles, not to mention one that is haunting.
The surprise news was dropped by the mother of four through her Instagram page. And she says that she can’t wait to see what people think of her performance.
And within seconds, the backlash began. People were in awe at how she was even allowed to be included and felt that the producers of the show could have done a much better job at selection for this year’s cast lineup.
Whether or not such threats would even make a difference, only time can tell. For now, we’re just going to be waiting patiently to see what unfolds.
