Donald Trump has decided to announce immediate retaliation after two full American Airforce planes carrying hundreds of deported migrants were forced to turn back.
According to reports from local media outlets, the jets were not given clearance for landing, and that made the matter a very tense and hostile situation.
Trump has now decided to launch a trade war against Colombia for the behavior and even shared his plans of imposing an emergency 25% tariff on Sunday after the South American nation chose to turn back two American military deportation flights.
Trump says he was just informed about the matter and it’s not sitting down well with him. He said that these were illegal criminals and they had no place in the country.
He also shared how not allowing the planes to land did not make sense as these were their own citizens so it was bizarre why such a call was made which will now have serious consequences.
He also shared how the order came from Colombia’s own president who is already said to be an unpopular figure in the country with his own citizens protesting against him and his rules.
