Amber Heard has admitted to hitting Johnny Depp in an old audio recording that was played in the court.
As Depp’s viral defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard continues, the Pirates of the Caribbean star claimed he didn’t leave his partner because he was afraid she would hurt herself.
He also recalled his traumatic childhood and the time Heard severed his middle finger with a glass bottle during a heated argument about his post-nuptial contract.
Now, several old audio recordings, including the one in which Heard admitted to hitting the actor, have been played in the court.
“I didn’t punch you. I’m sorry I didn’t hit you across the face in a proper slap. I was hitting you, it was not punching you,” Heard says in one of the clips presumably taken by Depp.
“Don’t tell what it feels like to be punched,” Depp replies.
Amber goes on to say: “You’ve been in a lot of fights, you’ve been around a long time. You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this, I didn’t punch you. I did not fu**ing deck you.
“I fu**ing was hitting you. I don’t know what the motion of my actual hand was. You’re fine. I did not hurt you, I did not punch you, I was hitting you. I’m not sitting here bit**ing about.”
She adds: “You’re a fu**ing baby. You are such a baby! Grow the f**k up Johnny.”
After Johnny tells Amber their altercation was physical, Amber can be heard admitting that she “did start a physical fight.”
The court also heard another recording in which Heard called her ex-husband a “stingy old piece of s***” and told him to go F himself.
“Why don’t you go f*** yourself. Go suck your own d***. Stingy old piece of s***,” the actress yelled.
The trial continues.
