In a pre-recorded interview with the Today show’s host Savannah Guthrie, the actress branded the blockbuster trial as “unfair” and went on to accuse the jury of being swayed by her ex-husband’s great acting rather than relying solely on examining evidence when making a verdict.

Heard also insisted that Johnny Depp had an “unfair social media representation” because he is a “beloved” character and people feel like they know him.

“I’ll put it this way, how could they make a judgment, how could they not come to that conclusion [that I couldn’t be believed]?” Heard said in a teaser for the full interview.

“They had sat in those seats and heard over three weeks of nonstop, relentless testimony from paid employees and towards the end of the trial, randos, as I say.”

While she doubled down on saying Johnny is a “fantastic” actor, Heard refused to blame the jury for reaching a verdict in the actor’s favor. Instead, she suggested they were not capable of making an objective decision.

“Again, how could they after listening to three and a half weeks of testimony about how I was an uncredible person and not to believe a word that came out of my mouth.”

Amber’s bombshell interview comes after the jury ruled in Depp’s favor and the judge ordered her to pay the actor $10 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages, bringing the total amount to $10.35 million in damages.
