Amber Heard’s conversation with Johnny Depp’s former agent following her relationship with Elon Musk has now been presented in court.
As Depp’s blockbuster defamation trial against Amber Heard continues, the actress’ e-mail exchange with Johnny’s former agent Christian Carino has emerged.
In their conversation, which took place in August 2017 – just over a year after Heard and Depp split and after the actress allegedly began dating billionaire Elon Musk – the Aquaman star said she hated dealing with breakups because she doesn’t want things to go public.
“Dealing with breakup. I hate when things go public. See I’m so sad,” she told Carino.
Thinking that she was talking about her then-recent breakup with Musk, Carino replied: “You weren’t in love with him. You told me 1,000 times you were just feeling space.”
After Heard asked for clarification, Carino added: “Why would you be sad if you weren’t in love with him to begin with?”
The actress then asked the agent whom he was referring to and Carino told her he was talking about Musk.
In the next e-mail, Heard said: “I know but I wanted time to grieve and recover in my own time.”
She later added: “I hate that, yet again a man lets me fall on the spikes by myself… They’re mad at me for leaving them and put things like this out there.”
Carino then went on to advise Heard to stop dating “uber famous people” if she didn’t want the press meddling in her personal life.
In his pre-recorded deposition, Carino also told the court that Heard still had feelings for her ex-beau even after their split and after she filed for divorce back in 2016.
“It’s so f***ed up I just want to tell him that what they’re telling him isn’t true,” Heard told Carino on July 14, 2016.
In another email, she added: “Please tell him I love him.”
