Amber Heard’s former assistant has told the court how the actress once flew into a blind rage and spat in her face.
As the trial in Johnny Depp’s $100 million defamation case continues, shocking details about the former lovers’ broken relationship are emerging.
Addressing the jury in a pre-recorded video deposition, Heard’s former assistant now revealed that she was employed by the actress back in 2012 and worked for her until 2015.
While being asked all kinds of questions by Depp’s attorneys, James recalled the time Heard lashed out at her after she forgot to properly store two magazines she had bought for the actress.
“She went absolutely ballistic. Screaming, yelling, abuse. (It was a) blind rage,” James said.
The former assistant went on to recall the time Amber scolded her over the phone and subjected her to “barrages of abusive text messages day and night.”
“The middle of the night I think, between 2 and 4 am the barrage would start. All incoherent, not making sense, just someone to lash out at. No apparent reason to it,” James claimed.
Furthermore, James insisted that Heard placed herself right in front of her and spat in her face after the assistant asked for a raise.
“She leapt up out of her chair, put her face four inches from my face, telling me how dare I ask the salary I was asking for. She felt that gave her the right to spit in my face,” James said.
After being asked if she had ever noticed any injuries to Heard’s face, James responded with a “no” and went on to claim she “never” saw the actress with black eyes.
