Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has been sued by a stunt double.
According to reports from local media outlets, the star was named in a harassment lawsuit that was filed by one of his female stunt doubles, who says she was subjected to an unscripted intimacy scene without any prior notice in 2023.
As per the complaint shared in the Superior Court of California, she claimed to be the victim of an unscripted scene directed by Kevin Costner on the set of the film Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2.
The production firms involved in this film were also named in the legal case.
LaBella requested a trial jury, and the amount she’s suing for has not been revealed yet.
LaBella was hired to be the stunt double for the movie’s lead actress, Ella Hunt, and her role was to stand in for Hunt during all of the physical scenes.
As per the complaint shared so far, the SAG doesn’t allow for any kind of last-minute requests pertaining to nudity or explicit content, or simulated intimacy.
A 48-hour notice is needed to get the performer’s permission for any kind of updates for intimacy. Hunt’s contract also forces her to have a coordinator for all the intimacy, as the document shared.
