The star shocked many with a kiss on the lips with co-star Halle Berry, who did initiate the loving gesture, while his lover looked on.

Then we saw him spitting out his gum and hurling it at his girlfriend to catch, right before he gave his acceptance speech. How’s that for gross!

But his speech was overly long, breaking the time limit that really felt dragged and unnecessary for many people.

People rolled their eyes and others were just baffled in terms of what was going on here. It was bizarre, to say the least. Why was he adding Harvey Weinstein’s kids in his thank you? Well, that’s because he’s dating his former wife Georgina who shares two kids with him.

The star’s achievements for The Brutalist seemed to be overshadowed with what some feel was the longest winner’s speech in history. Now the question is whether or not we needed that.

Now, viewers who seek entertainment want him banned or at least penalized for not following rules and going on forever for his remarks. Some viewers are finding it hard to digest that his binge-droning was aired and not reduced.
