Tragic reports have confirmed the death of KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, who passed away at the age of 74 after suffering from a fatal fall at his residence.

The news was confirmed by his family, who shared a statement on the matter. The rock icon was said to have been battling for his life on life support machines inside the hospital after he sustained a brain bleed.

Earlier reports said he was on a ventilator for a period of time, and his family was said to be considering turning off the support. Now, it’s believed that the 74-year-old star musician was still on the ventilator till yesterday afternoon.

The family shared a statement on his death, adding how they are completely heartbroken and devastated by this incident. ‘In his final moments, we were so fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, and peaceful words, prayers, thoughts, and intentions as he left this earth’- the post read.

“We cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and we celebrate his strengths and kindness that he’s bestowed upon others’- the post shared.
