A pregnant newlywed wife has passed away after falling off a cliff during her honeymoon.
31-year-old Fawziyah Javed had traveled to Edinburgh only days after getting married. According to the Daily Record, she fell off Arthur’s Seat in Holyrood Park at around 9 pm on Thursday.
Emergency services rushed to Holyrood Park but despite the best efforts of paramedics, fire crews and police, the pregnant woman could not be saved.
Fawziyah, who worked at Lyons Davidson Solicitors in Leeds, was heavily involved in charity work before she tied the knot.
