The body of a man who went missing alongside his daughter after the duo set out on an Appalachian Trail hike was recently found.
The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife spoke more about how daughter Esther was also missing and, therefore, a search and rescue was currently taking place to find her.
The pair was last seen leaving Abol Campground to hike Mount Katahdin in Maine at about 10:15 am on Sunday.
In another update that was shared on Facebook several hours after that, rangers at Baxter State Park confirmed how the remains of the male were positively identified as Tim was found in that search, but they were continuing the hunt for Esther.
