Michael Jackson’s son is speaking out against Harry Styles being dubbed as the new king of pop.
Prince Jackson was seen making his rare appearance on Good Morning Britain today where he went into full defensive mode and defended his dad’s famous title of ‘King of Pop’.
Many couldn’t even recognize the famous king of pop’s son on the famous Good Morning Britain Show. And that’s because he sported a very different look than we’re used to seeing in the past.
He made his appearance on the 40th anniversary of his dad’s hit single called, ‘Thriller’ and even went about responding to some claims linked to how Harry Styles was the new King of Pop.
To many people’s surprise, he started to rubbish those claims and was horrified at the thought or audacity people had to replace his dad.
Hence, he could be seen chuckling and responding to the comment in a very bold and blunt manner. The host asked him what he felt as the title was synonymous with his dad. And his expressions were enough to make one realize that he didn’t like what was going on.
Prince did show some respect for the celeb by acknowledging how talented he was and how he had a great voice. But that was just about it. He was quick to comment on how there was zero truth linked to the claims that his father’s replacement was Styles.
“It’s best to leave my father out of this and he can’t be compared to any other out there. His legacy will remain forever and while people may come close, they can’t be him”- he added.
