While for some, it just might be too soon for Christmas, for others, it’s not. But that doesn’t mean McDonald’s plans on stopping the celebration with adverts galore.

Recently, the restaurant’s new advert was displayed and it had so many fans reaching for their tissue boxes. But what was in the advert that had so many people crying for days?

The ad comes with the caption, “Introducing imaginary Iggy! Are you #ReindeerReady?”

Now that not only confirms to us all that the best time of the year is almost here but it’s also another affirmation that Christmas time is drawing near. But in addition to that, there’s a very sweet message that left so many people in tears.

The ad has been set to a rendition of the famous tune, ‘Time after Time’ which was reportedly sung by Mabel. In the ad, you’ll find a young Matilda on her journey through her childhood days, where she starts to make so many bonds throughout the Christmas season with traditional rituals with her beautiful imaginary friend Iggy by her side.

But as she grows up over the years, she soon leaves Iggy behind in her childhood. And that’s when a small spark of Christmas joy assists her in reliving her memory.

Ever since its release, the advert has gone viral on social media with so many viewers claiming that they just couldn’t hold back those tears.
