You have to forget having a good night’s sleep when your baby is just born. You have to bear with all his habits. You have to change his diapers, take him out for a stroll.

You must prevent any kinds of danger that might harm him. Sometimes, you try to over-protect your kid and cause accidental pain. You might not know this but there are unseen dangers of covering your stroller to protect your child from the sun.

As the summer season is right around the corner, it is important for you to allow the sun’s rays to touch your child’s skin. According to a research done in Sweden, covering the stroller with even a thin cloth can do more harm than good.

It is strictly advised not to leave your kid in the car under the sun. It has been found that a stroller covered with a blanket has the same effect.

You might be thinking that it is quite logical to protect the baby from the glaring rays of the sun by covering him up with a blanket. The temperature inside the stroller might become higher than outside. It might even turn into a furnace.

A Swedish pediatrician said that covering the stroller causes bad air circulation and makes it difficult to see the baby.

An experiment was conducted to test this theory. A stroller’s temperature was recorded when the outside temperature was 22 °C.  The result surprised everyone when the stroller was covered; the temperature inside reached up to 34°C. Just after an hour, the temperature increased even further and reached 37°C.

Keep this advice in mind the next time you take your baby out for a stroll. You might be protecting him from the son, but might cause more damage to him if you cover the stroller with a blanket.
