Neighbors who live right across the street from Brain Laundrie’s parents’ home are revealing new details on the harrowing and mysterious case that continues to baffle so many.
According to local media outlets, the neighbors who call themselves the Guthries added how they were never aware of any strange circumstances until this case popped on the news.
But they did go on to reveal how it’s just too shocking for them as this was certainly they did not see coming.
The Guthries explained how they were busy minding their own business on the same day that Gabby Petito was reportedly missing. And that’s when they saw Brian Laundrie and his parents put up an attached camper with a few luggage and important things, right before heading out.
The exact date of the incident was revealed as September 11 and that’s also when Gabby went missing, confirmed reports.
Neighbors added how they were not sure about whether or not Brian Laundrie returned back from the trip with his parents but they did see the camper pulling back into the driveway.
Police claim Brian Laundrie was reported as missing by authorities on the 17th of September. And now, police teams are busy searching for his whereabouts, referring to him as a key suspect of interest in the high-profile case. Just a few days back, his parent’s home was declared a crime scene with many adding how his parents just allowed the investigation to drag on so they could buy their son more time to run away.
Speaking to Fox recently, the family was quick to mention how they incorrectly assumed that Brian returned home in Gabby’s white van with his girlfriend too. And that’s when they saw a bunch of reporters head on over with police officers condoning off the area.
“We just had no idea as to what was going on because we know very little about them. We just assumed they came back from wherever they went but the truth appears to be very different from what we first thought,” they added.
