The coronavirus pandemic has forced everyone to stay at home and maintain social distancing.
The disease spreads very easily and the only way to avoid contracting is to stay away from people.
Many of the affected countries are witnessing lockdowns and during this difficult time, the internet and social media are the only things keeping people light and positive and maintain their high spirits.
For instance, this viral video shows exactly how to stay strong together even while maintaining social distancing while spreading happiness.
The clip was shared on Twitter by Elsa Williams where different families living in the same neighborhood are standing at their doorsteps and driveways and dancing.
This socially distant dancing activity guided by local instructor has left many of the viewers inspired and impressed.
While sharing the clip, Williams explained how social distancing dance occurs each day on her road during lockdown at 11 am. She wrote further to note that this was the seventh day of the activity.
The video shows people dancing to a melodious tune that plays in the background and their smiling faces are sufficient to show that they are immensely enjoying the activity.
The video has received more than 6.5 million views since it was shared and the number is increasing. It also has more than 200,000 likes as well as 46000 retweets.
The clip has garnered a lot of praise from the viewers. In another tweet, Elsa noted that this dance is completely safe taking the spread of coronavirus into consideration and added that it was supposed to be a onetime thing.
However, the enthusiasm of the elderly and children living in the area prompted these sessions to happen every day. She also added that before this activity, the people hardly spoke to one another.
