Mom In Tears After Neighbor Calls Police On Her KIDS Who Were Playing Outside Their Home


An upset mother has spoken out and revealed how her neighbor accused her kids of vandalism because they were playing outside their home.

Sarah Goodwin from Newport Pagnell, England, was shocked to her bones when the police arrived at her home after one of her neighbors accused her kids of vandalism.

As the upset mom explained, her three young children and their friends were playing hopscotch outside her home. To play the popular game, the kids used chalk to draw lines on the pavement.

Their fun time, however, must have seriously angered one of Sarah’s neighbors who called the police on the kids and accused them of vandalism.

My children are 6, 9, and 13, plus their friends.point 40 | Hopscotch, tracks for scooters, drawing around themselves and it completely washed away a few days later,” Sarah wrote as she shared her story on a Facebook group called Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas.point 211 | 1

“Had complaints made about it to housing and police. I thought kids playing outside was better than sat in, in front of screens.”

Following the ordeal, the mother admitted she had received lots of support from fellow parents and other residents of her neighborhood.

Sarah also insisted that she won’t be backing down and keeping her kids inside simply because of one grumpy neighbor who was offended by children’s drawings.

“After their first day back at school and playing at the park, they went out and chalked some more yesterday,” she added.

“They played more hopscotch, what time is it Mr Wolf? made a road for the bikes with traffic lights, roundabouts and parking, to which even passers by joined in.

“The kids loved it and so did I. They played out for about three and a half hours with friends and neighbors, 12 children in total aging from 4 for 13. They laughed lots and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Loved the community spirit it brought.”
