An angry neighbor lashed out at a homeowner after she made the entire area “look like a low income ghetto” with her garage door painting.
In a brutal letter, the neighbor who painted their garage door black and yellow was accused of devaluing homes in the area and having no class.
A photo of the letter was shared on Imgur by a user known as soundguy. “A person in an FB group for my area posted a nasty letter she was mailed anonymously…” he captioned the photo.
The letter read:
“You just devalued all of the homes in this area with that hideous graffiti at the front of your house. It has made the entire neighbourhood look like a low income ghetto.
“You couldn’t have put it inside your house on an interior wall vs force us all to have to live with that? You have compromised everyone’s property value and resale opportunities by doing it with no consideration for anyone but your tasteless self.”
The hateful letter went on to suggest that the woman who painted her garage door has “a total lack of respect” for her neighbors and their properties.
“I feel sorry for the homeowners on your street and thank God it’s not on ours, but every visitor we have will now have to drive by that s*** on the way to us like they’re driving through the hood. Shame on you! You have no class!” the letter concluded.
After the photos of the message and the freshly-painted garage door went viral, some people were quick to defend the woman’s work of art saying it looks pretty good.
Others, however, pointed out they agree with the angry neighbor saying that such creations don’t belong in residential areas.
