NASA Claims They Have Found a Replica of the Earth in a Star System About 73 Light-Years Away

Scientist and astronauts at NASA are working day and night to understand the universe and find out all the hidden secrets it has.

Over the years they have made hundreds and hundreds of discoveries. But this one can be a major break out just like the one that came out as they believed they were able to find life on Mars.

Yes Mars is a closer planet and they have close access to the planet but the universe is wider than you can ever imagine.

Space has thousands of galaxies and recently in a star system about 73 light-years away from ours, NASA found out something marvelous. Yes, they found a planet that was almost a replica of Earth along with two Neptunes.

These three planets were found in a star system and the scientists believe that they can be the missing links of our solar system that were separated at the time of the formation or afterward.

They were orbiting a star named TOI-270, which is an old M-dwarf star. The three planets that have been found are the nearest the scantiest have ever found of the smallest size.

One out of three planets is rocky like Earth but slightly bigger and the other two are gaseous planets, smaller than Neptune but they are almost double the size of our planet.

In 2018 NASA launched a satellite called Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) with the aim of finding life or planets around the neighboring stars. TESS is the satellite that found out these planets revolving around TOI-270.

In our solar system, we have two types of planets, rocky, like Earth, Mars, etc, and the gaseous ones like Jupiter, Saturn, etc. but there is no planet which has both of it.

This is why the scientists think that the two planets they have found may be the lost links of our solar system because they are both gaseous and rocky.
