In a recent investigation it has been seen that many chicken farms have been supplying Nando’s with deformed paralyzed chicken.
It has been observed that chicken with deformities, paralysis, undergrown chicken is being supplied to one of the well-known food shop Nando’s.
The conditions of the chicken being so poor and unhygienic that they should not have been used for food. Small chicks being born with such deformities are taken in a bucket(s) to be supplied to Nando’s for further proceedings.
When Nando’s were asked about this shortcoming they denied all the accusations. They didn’t know anything about these deformed chicks being supplied to their inventories and after being notified of such accusations they will look into the matter.
Measures being taken by World Animal Protection
Other poultry farms when asked about what they were going to do about the defective chicks were replied with “will be sent to Nando’s”.
These chicks were killed and were cooked at Nando’s because they had some deformity, chicken with under growth and bone deformities were also killed and cooked.
After World Animal Protection getting to know about such occurring, they have stepped in and are taking necessary measures to put a stop against such poor behavior against these little deformed chicks and chickens.
The customers of Nando’s after getting to know of such doings have shifted their demand to some other shop.
World Animal Protection have worked up with the law and are standing at a position where UK legislationhas been broken along with the Red Tractor.
They have made a petition to Nando’s asking them to work up with their suppliers and improve the quality of the living standards of those chickens. Nando’s agreeing to it is looking in to the matter and are trying to get back the customers that they have lost due to such shortcomings.
