Muslim American Society Said The Video Of Children Chanting Disturbing Texts Was An Unintended Mistake

Muslim American Society Islamic Center in Philadelphia shared a controversial video to its Facebook page last month that shows a group of young Muslim children chanting disturbing things.

A group of children wearing Islamic headdress adorned with Palestinian symbols and colors are singing of ‘chopping off heads’ while ‘defending Palestine with our bodies.’

The Muslim American Society issued a statement saying they will investigate the ‘unintended mistake and an oversight’ and the ‘person in charge’ of this specific event has been ‘dismissed.’

The Muslim American Society released a statement that said:

‘While we celebrate the coming together of different cultures and languages, not all songs were properly vetted.’

‘This was an unintended mistake and an oversight in which the center and the students are remorseful. MAS will conduct an internal investigation to ensure this does not occur again.’

The Anti-Defamation League, a leading Jewish organization, released a statement that read:

‘Children should not be indoctrinated to hate. These young people should never have been asked to make speeches and dance and lip-sync to songs that glorify violence against Jews and the State of Israel.’
