Mum Who Gave Birth While In A Coma Has Finally Been Allowed To Take Her Baby Home


The mother who gave birth to a baby girl via cesarean while in a coma has finally been allowed to take her baby home and introduce her to the rest of the family.

27-year-old Angela Primachenko tested positive for the novel coronavirus when she was in her 33rd week of pregnancy.

After the Vancouver, Washington, mum was put in an induced coma due to complications, she gave birth to a girl named Ava without even knowing about it or being able to hold her baby.

As the mother woke up on April 6 and found out she had given birth while in a coma, she was allegedly told by the doctors she wasn’t allowed to hold her baby because she was still carrying the virus.

After testing negative for COVID-19 two times, on April 15, Primachenko was finally able to wrap her arms around her baby girl and give her a tight hug.

Following another week of recovery, the mum finally received the good news as doctors informed her she could take her baby home.

As seen in Angela’s photos, her 11-month-old daughter was smiling from ear to ear when she finally got to see her little sister Ava in person.

“The last few weeks have been filled with so much unexpected change in my life… and I feel like I can write a novel… but for tonight I’ll just write that life is good, and let’s find the good in everyday,” the mother wrote in her post as she shared several pictures of Ava meeting other family members.point 420 | 1
