A 27 years old woman was diagnosed with coronavirus when she was just a week away from giving birth to her second child.
She was then placed on a medically induced coma to save her and her baby’s life. She gave birth to a healthy baby, recovered from the coma and virus, and has finally held her baby in her arms.
Angela Primachenko is a practicing respiratory therapist who lives in Vancouver, Washington.
She was expecting her second child and was 33 weeks into her pregnancy when she started noticing the symptoms of the deadly virus affecting the entire world.
She tested positive with the virus and was admitted to the Intensive Care Init of Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.
Because of the virus, her condition kept worsening and so the doctors decided to put her on medically induced coma.
Primachenko was still in Coma when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter Ava on April 1st. Due to the coma, she was left unconscious and thus has no recollection of the events that happened and changed her life forever.
As soon as she gave birth to her daughter Ava, the doctors started noticing the improvement in her condition.
Within 5 days, her condition had improved rapidly and she was taken off the ventilator. After 2 continuous tests coming out negative, she was finally given her daughter in her arms.
Primachenko shared a post on Instagram where she wrote “I am in tears right now. I am finally free of COVID-19 and I am holding my precious little daughter. This day is exceptionally emotional for me.”
A picture that was shared following the post had the mother and daughter sharing a beautiful moment together. Primachenko had her mask on for the safety of both as she held her little baby girl close to her chest who looks absolutely adorable.
