A woman who went through nine miscarriages revealed she welcomed 2 miracle babies in only twelve months.
Thirty-five-year-old, Simone, and her thirty-one-year-old husband, Chris Austin, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, gave up the hope of becoming parents after suffering nine miscarriages as well as an ectopic pregnancy.
However, the couple was amazed to welcome Elena last year in October, but she was only the size of a mobile phone when she was born at twenty-four weeks.
The family had to spend the 2018’s Christmas in the hospital without knowing if their little daughter would survive.
Elena pulled through several weeks later and her parents discovered that Simone had conceived again.
Their second child, Damien, is now eighteen weeks.
Talking about last Christmas, Simone said that they were barely able to see Elena throughout the day but told that they tried to make everything as magical as possible for their first-born, Joey.
Simone recalled her crying in front of everyone who was present in her house because she simply wanted to see her daughter.
She then went to see her daughter for an hour, then went for the Christmas dinner at her husband’s place. There, they kept a picture of the little one and felt her presence.
Simone’s ectopic pregnancy and miscarriages cost her left tube and so, the couple stopped believing that they could be parents again.
Talking about her daughter’s early labor by four months, Simone said that she is a real fighter.
Simone and Chris were to get married two weeks after Elena was born and since everything was pre-booked, they decided to go ahead with their wedding and make their family complete.
Soon after her happiness multiplied immensely when she discovered she was pregnant again.
