L*sbian Mother Urges School Teachers To Stop Using ‘Mom & Dad’ To Describe Parents


A lesbian mother is warning school teachers to stop using the words ‘mother and father’ or ‘mom and dad’ to describe parents in the classroom.

Therefore, she is now raising her voice against the masses, requesting school teachers to take a moment and realize the grave mistake that they might be making.

The mum, who is known as Sirry Alang is actually an associate professor by profession who hails from the state of Pennsylvania. Therefore, she is urging the school to come to the realization that all families aren’t the same and look very different.

Whether it’s single mothers and fathers or gay parents too, not to mention blended households as well, the word mums and dads just aren’t for everyone, neither does it apply to all.

Posting her thoughts and feelings over Twitter, she spoke about how teachers’ words were actually impacting young minds and their opinions were also being broadcasted over so many homes too.

“Just the number of times that a teacher goes about saying mother and father in my own child’s class is so infuriating,” she added.

In the same way, Sirry also took out this opportunity to praise one of her own child’s classmates who despite being so young, was actually brave enough to call out a teacher due to their incorrect assumptions.

“A brave young child just mentioned…. but I only told my grandmother during lunchtime since my sister and I only live with my grandparents.”

Moreover, the lesbian teacher’s own child also was brave enough to interrupt and mention how his own mother was gay. Hence, he does not have a father and that is totally okay too because his mother told him that everyone comes from different families.
