A mother was enjoying a little swimming with her kids in the Pacific Ocean when something popped out of nowhere.
Bethany Bronson was swimming in southern Japan on a beach in Okinawa with her four children. They were enjoying themselves when a friend suggested that they record a video message for Bethany’s husband who had completed six-months in Afghanistan.
His name was Hyrum Bronson. The family friend asked the kids what would they say if their father was present at the moment.
The daughter, Charity, replied that she would love her father forever. Bethany jumped in and said that she loves him and misses him.
The family friend said that he would send this message to Hyrum on Facebook. When they had finished recording the message, someone wearing a military scuba gear emerged from the water behind Bethany and Charity. He stood straight in the waist-deep water.
Everyone was surprised when they realized that this man was none other than Hyrum himself. They were completely shocked as the man was supposed to be serving as the Air Force Doctor in Afghanistan. He wasn’t supposed to be returning home for the next 3 weeks.
Bethany screamed in excitement and couldn’t believe her eyes. The husband wasn’t able to control his emotions either and said that the captain has arrived for his duty.
The kids cried out “Daddy” in ecstasy. The husband and wife embraced each other as they were meeting after a really long time. The kids too joined in to get some hugs.
Bethany wrote that Hyrum had been serving for 6 months in Afghanistan after his 3 months of training. He only had a short break when he visited his home. They thought that Hyrum would come home after 3 weeks, but he surprised them when he emerged from the waters.
