A parent has gone viral after sharing the horrible mess she found hidden on the side of her teenage son’s bed!
Having children can get pretty messy and as they get older and move into their teenage years, that’s when things really get terrible.
One mom was horrified to discover what her son was hiding under his bed and shared the disgusting discovery on TikTok.
Amanda Nightbert, from Lexington, Kentucky in the US, recently went viral on social media after revealing what was on the side of her son’s bed.
Amanda, a registered dietician, posted a clip under the name @amandanighbertrd and captioned it with: “When is the last time you cleaned under your teenager’s bed?!!”
The family appears to be rearranging her son’s room and re-positioning the bed away from the wall.
“Pulled my teenage son’s bed away from the wall and found this!” the caption in the video reads.
In the clip, you can see the mom dropping her jaws in shock as she uncovers the muddle which extends throughout the length of the double bed.
The floor is filled with empty crunchy packets, sweet wrappers, used paper plates, carrier bags, broken pens, and empty drink bottles.
The massive pile of trash was thrown down the side of the bed and some of the family members came and check out the chaos and all look equally as shocked.
The end of the video shows her teenage son cleaning up the side of the bed and getting rid of all the evidence that it ever happened.
The video shared online capturing the mom’s reaction has since been viewed over 17 million times and gained more than one million likes.
A lot of individuals also commented on the post to share their opinions especially parents with teenage boys who can relate.
“My mom would have buried me in that trash,” one person said.
“Honestly thank goodness you don’t have bugs or something else from that,” a second one added.
“This is AWFUL!” a third wrote.
“My mom would have literally killed me if my room was like that,” another commented.
