Watch the woman removing her makeup for the first time in over 50 years

Christopher Hopkins – who is also known as “Makeover Guy” – is a makeover artist and gives incredible makeovers to women. He has appeared on many TV shows, including The Oprah Winfrey Show and Today.
Hopkins’ mother Joann Hopkins – who is a makeup pro – decided to get a hair makeover from her son.
Joann never removed her makeup in public in over 50 years. She never removes her makeup even before going to bed at night.
She said: “why would I want to go to bed at night, with the person I love, looking like hell?”
Christopher said: “If you’ve read my book, Staging Your Comeback, A Complete Beauty Revival For Women Over 45, you know I watched my mother put her face on every morning for years.
No one sees her without makeup. She’s always said she’d rather answer the door without her clothes than without her makeup.”
“Of course I think she’s beautiful with or without, she’s just not “who she is” without it. When who you are is expressed by how you look, you’re beautiful. She’s not the woman without the makeup. Just the way it is.”
But, she removed her makeup when she decided to get a hair makeover from her son, Christopher Hopkins.
Hopkins said after giving his own mother a hair makeover: “I’m not exactly sure how this video went viral.
I guess she probably didn’t expect that or she’d have never done it! Well, Mom. It might bring some new subscribers and maybe I’ll sell another couple of books. So you helped me out.”
