A photo that was left uncovered has been recently discovered of the alleged sexual trafficking victim Corinna Slusser.
She looks a lot thinner with darker hair and eyes in her new photo discovered. She used to be formerly blond.
Corinna’s mother was the one who recognized her daughter despite the dramatic changes to her body.
The mother claims that her daughter must have been forced to change her appearance and even the family members couldn’t recognize her in the first place but she was able to do it is her mother.
Corinna was 19 when she went missing from the New York City in September 2017. She used to be a cheerleader.
The investigation so far tells that she is a victim of sex-trafficking and has arrested the offender last month who indulged in trafficking the two women.
According to the FBI, a man named Ishi Woney who can be seen in the photos with Corinna is responsible for the trafficking of the two victims.
Woney, according to the investigation was promoting prostitution by putting up the advertisements of the two victims.
Investigators found Woney’spast online activities where he advertised stating the” two girls special” along with the photos of the two victims.
The mother Sabina now feels convinced that her daughter was lured away in the business of prostitution by such individuals like Woney.
She added that she founds her daughter to be smart enough to tackle problems but New York City is totally different from where she used to live earlier.
In Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania which is a small city, nobody is used to these sorts of problems.
Sabina is now worried over the fact that her daughter’s changed appearance can hinder the search process because the posters depict her older self and not the present appearance.
She was last seen at the Haven Motel on Woodhaven Boulevard in the Rego Park section of Queens.
It is claimed she might have been living at a seedy motel in the Bronx which is particularly known for prostitution.
The family came upon the conclusion that she was groomed by the pimps early on and then she went to New York City.
Corinna posted some of her photos on the social media expressing that she is doing great as she rented her own apartment by herself in the NYC. She also posted about being a sex worker.
Such posts depicted that she might have been happy doing all this, but things have changed when she went missing.
The mother also said that during her last year in Bloomsburg she was spending her time with the wrong people. There used to fight with the family over her unacceptable behavior and one day she just left for New York.
