A mother was left seriously injured with her hand bleeding after slicing her palm open on a razor that was intentionally glued to the handle of a shopping cart.
The incident occurred at a Walmart in Cedar Park, Texas, where vile brutes placed a razor blade at the side of a shopping cart handle as a part of a sinister “prank.”
According to the authorities, this isn’t the first incident of its type which is why the police are warning people to double-check trolley handles before touching them.
After Silver Taylor’s hand was left bleeding, she approached the store’s staff in an attempt to get an apology and compensation for her bodily injuries.
According to Brad Wurster, Taylor’s attorney, the mother fainted and hit her head after seeing blood dripping off her hand.
As the paramedics arrived at the scene, they took pictures of Silver’s hand and the razor that was invisible from the point of view of customers.
“How thankful I am that I got hurt and not a child, [like], my sons,” the mother expressed after she had been taken to a hospital for treatment.
As the mother added, the incident left her “sad [that] we have to live in a world like [this]” where random strangers would hurt people for no good reason.
However, Silver also pointed out that she believes it’s the store’s “obligation to look at their carts” and make sure they are safe for use by shoppers.
As of this writing, no culprits related to the incident have been arrested. As for Walmart, they received a legal notice from Silver’s lawyer.
