April Wild, a mother who declared that her 4-year-old daughter played the role to be her birth partner when she was determined to give birth to her third child at home.
Furthermore, she claimed that her first child was born in the hospital, and the second one at home, respectively.
April, an individual who conducts classes on pregnancy yoga and hypnobirthing, said she wanted the delivery of her third to be performed under a calm atmosphere.
So, her family, a photographer, and a doula only surrounded her.
April, the mother of three was 41-weeks pregnant after which she experienced labor, and when the surges started to take place, she was alarmed by knowing that it is already time, for which she started her schedule on hypnobirthing, reflexology, and yoga.
As she was preparing for the birth, April said that her husband and her 4-year-old daughter was there with her during every step.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, April said that her little girl even got herself a birthing ball and copied each of her steps effectively in the process.
Once she got herself into the birthing pool her daughter followed her in as well. The youngster was wearing her swimsuit and stood by her mother until her little brother presented himself to the world.
The toddler herself asked her mother whether she can get into the pool as well, and April couldn’t say no to her request.
The 4-year-old did not splash or played with water once she entered the pool, but she was putting cold flannels on the back of her mother since April was experiencing contractions and it is a place that hurts the most during the time of birth.
Later on, April said that she is very much grateful and blessed to have a daughter like her, who helped her welcome Grayson, and claimed her to be the best partner she could ever have.
