Man Attacked His Mother For Hiding Toilet Paper From Him During The Lockdown


A grownup son has attacked his mother for hiding toilet paper from him because she thought he was using too much of it during the coronavirus pandemic.

The domestic abuse case occurred in California where 26-year-old Los Angeles County-based Adrian Yan lashed out at his mother after accusing her of hoarding toilet paper.

After allegedly punching his mother, Yan got arrested and charged with battery. As the authorities have reported, the man’s mother claimed she was hiding the toilet paper because her son had been using too much of it.

As for the 26-year-old, he insisted that his mother had been hoarding toilet paper since the beginning of the pandemic which resulted in panic-buying and shortage of toilet paper.

According to Los Angeles Times, a police spokesperson, Shirley Miller, confirmed that the incident occurred at the family’s home where officers were sent to at around 3 in the morning.

In another unrelated incident, an unruly man was tackled to the ground and apprehended by other shoppers after he started spitting and coughing on food inside a store.

The incident occurred at Kingston’s Stop & Shop where the 65-year-old Massachusetts man found himself tackled to the floor by several shoppers who caught him in the act of spitting on the food.

According to the reports, the shoppers made a citizen’s arrest as they apprehended the perpetrator and waited for the police to arrive and take him away.

As the witnesses claimed, the “aggressive” man attempted to punch a staff member who confronted him about spitting and coughing on the food.

In response, the employee allegedly punched the 65-year-old in the face. Other shoppers then tackled him to the floor and restrained him.

“I was shopping in the produce when all of a sudden I turned the corner. I saw a worker and the man yelling with other people watching,” 18-year-old Kyle Mann who shared the video he recorded said.

“While that was happening, I heard them talking about him spitting and coughing on the produce, which is how I learned what happened seconds after I arrived and shot the video.”

According to the media, the store has thrown away all products that could have gotten infected by the man’s coughing and spitting. In addition, they have disinfected the area to get rid of potential germs.
