Mother-To-Be Demands Dog Owner Changes Pet’s Name Because She Wants To Use It For Her Daughter

A pompous mother-to-be has requested her acquaintance to change their dog’s name because she wanted to give a similar name to her daughter but doesn’t want it to be shared with a dog.

After the pregnant woman’s ridiculous request, Jennay politely refused and pointed out that no one would notice the similarities between the dog’s name and the name she wanted to give to her unborn daughter.

Nevertheless, the mother-to-be went ballistic and accused Jennay of “ruining her unborn daughter’s life.”

“Out of the blue she messages me telling me she’s pregnant again, I think it’s strange she’s telling me since we don’t really know each other but I say ‘congratulations I’m super happy for you etc,’” Jennay wrote on Facebook where she shared her story.

After the stranger explained she was expecting a baby girl, her tone allegedly changed and she demanded Jennay changes her dog’s name.

“She says, ‘we want to name her Tillie but it’s come to my attention you’ve got a dog named Tilly. I’d really appreciate you changing your dog’s name. Obviously you understand my daughter can’t have the same name as a dog.’”

Trying to cool down the tension, Jennay responded by saying: “Oh, I see; I don’t think it’s necessary since I doubt you’ll ever see my Tilly and I don’t think anyone will notice.”

That’s when the expectant mother lost it and accused her of ruining her unborn daughter’s life.

“(She said) because I don’t have kids I don’t understand and I’m putting her in a terrible position and potentially ruining her unborn daughter’s life,” Jennay added in her post.

“I wrote back and said ‘I’m not changing the dog’s name; have a good one mate and congrats again.”
