A mother-of-three from Florida ‘vanished in thin air’ after she left her phone at home and withdrew money from an ATM.
50-year-old Stephanie Chitwood Hollingsworth was last seen going out of their home in Belle Isle on September 25.
Taking her wallet but not her phone, Hollingsworth drove her 2000 silver Chevrolet Tahoe to a nearby bank.
A CCTV camera captured Hollingsworth withdrawing $20 from a Bank of America at 2 pm but she has not been seen or heard from since.
Investigators are concerned about the mother’s wellbeing as she has mental health conditions.
But ten days since she vanished into thin air, officers said there are ‘no leads at all.’
Sergeant Detective Jeremy Millis said to Click Orlando: “What’s odd about this case is that there’s only been one sighting or one transaction at the Bank of America Friday. Outside of that, we’ve taken just about every avenue that we can to locate her or the vehicle.
“There has been absolutely no sightings of the vehicle since the Bank of America transaction.”
Crimeline is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that can help police find Hollingsworth.
The mother’s husband, Scott Hollingsworth, is also appealing to everyone for help.
“The fact that she just vanished in thin air just doesn’t make sense. We can say with a certain degree of certainty that she is endangered at this point,” Scott said.
“I’m asking for everybody’s help to do everything they can to find her,” he expressed. “Understand that this woman… Stephanie, my wife of 25 years is in trouble and we need to get her back to her family, her children.
“Stephanie… we are looking for you, your family loves you more than ever. We don’t know what’s going on but we’re going to find you…. just know that.”
