A group of ruthless kids aged between 10 and 14 was caught on camera viciously beating up an innocent mother who took her daughter to a family playground.
One of the youngsters who kicked and punched 33-year-old Bonnie Halcrow was a 13-year-old girl who got charged with assault after the group’s callous attack.
Ms. Halcrow was ambushed by the mob of young thugs in front of her 10-year-old daughter at Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill Park in Canada.
Allegedly, the kids began attacking the mother after she confronted them and asked them to stop throwing rocks at a passerby. In return, the kids stole her phone and swarmed her after she chased the one with her phone.
In footage submitted to the police, the kids are seen bashing and kicking the 33-year-old and dragging her across the ground. After the woman finally got back on her feet, the kids ran away.
“I couldn’t feel any of the punches or kicks because my adrenaline kicked in, and I couldn’t fight kids. It just isn’t me to fight kids, so I just did the best I could,” Halcrow said in an interview with CBC.
As the terrified mother added, she was worried about her 10-year-old daughter’s safety fearing that the children would target her next.
In addition, Ms. Halcrow feels saddened by the fact that her daughter was forced to watch the abuse of her mother happen right in front of her eyes.
According to the reports, the youngster who’s been charged with assaulting the mother is currently also being investigated for committing another assault in the same park just weeks prior to the most recent attack.
