Meanwhile, one of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter movement has started calling for the abolition of the monarchy because she believes they don’t value Black lives.

As TMZ originally reported, Opal Tometi, a vocal activist and one of the BLM founders, believes that Meghan and Harry’s allegations should be enough for people to boycott the monarchy.

As Tometi insisted, it doesn’t matter who the royal behind the alleged comments about Archie’s skin tone is because the experience in itself already shows that the Royal Family is problematic.

According to the activist, Meghan’s experience is similar to what Black people often have to go through which is why people should start listening to Black women who find the courage to stand up to racism.

Tometi’s comments follow shortly after Meghan and Harry claimed that racism within the Royal Family was one of the main reasons why they had left the UK.

As the couple said in a brutal swipe at the monarchy, at least one of the royals voiced their concerns about Archie’s skin tone when Meghan was still pregnant with her first child.

Nevertheless, the Duke and Duchess refused to name the person(s) who allegedly expressed worries about Archie’s skin tone because they don’t want to damage their reputation.

As it was later confirmed by Harry, however, the Queen and Prince Philip were definitely not the ones who made the racist comments.
