An anonymous woman posted to get suggestions from people that whether she should change her son’s birthday or not and unintentionally started a fierce debate.
This mother asked people on social media whether she should change her son’s birthday or not because his birth date has been inconvenient and they are always unable to celebrate his birthday.
She said that his son was born on Boxing day and as per the traditions of the family the day is well occupied.
She says that even if they manage to get time to celebrate his birthday, every place in the town remains close because of a holiday and no kids would come to attend his party or even come and play with him.
She said “Last year it was so bad. He has grown up now and was frustrated that he cannot do anything on his birthday so he misbehaved a little and he should have never done that. This is one of the reasons I really wish to change his birth date.”
She also added, “I also have an older son and his birthday is a normal day so we celebrate his birthday in the way a birthday should be celebrated and this makes me feel even more guilty because my younger boy can never have it that way.”
When she posted about it on social media, some people said that this is an absurd idea while some said that it will be for better.
One woman commented “How on the earth you can change his birthday. It will never be the same if you change it to December 28. He will always remember his real day.”
Another user commented “This is a great idea to save his day. He will appreciate it once he is older enough.”
