One mom has revealed a trick to get perfectly cut slices of cheese every single time.
She shared the hack on the Facebook group Extreme Budget DIY & Life Hacks and explained how she uses a potato peeler to slice her cheese.
She wrote: “Probably my daftest moment ever – however, works an absolute treat. Use a peeler to slice your block of cheese.
“Perfectly slim slices of cheese in a fraction of the time it takes me to use a knife.”
The genius woman posted a picture of her running the peeler along the side of a block of cheese. People were blown away after seeing her post and start appreciating her in the comment section.
One wrote: “I do this as well! Couldn’t find a knife one day and hey presto!”
Another added: “Why have I never thought of this??”
“This is genius,” a third replied. “How have I never thought of this.”
One person said that the peeler hack wouldn’t work on crumblier cheeses. After the great response, the woman joked: “I cannot be held legally responsible for any excess consumption of cheese that occurs as a result of trying this method out.”
This is not the first time when someone has shared a genius trick as a teenager has revealed his hack for making a supersized Oreo tower from a single pack of cookies.
Tik Tok user Gabriel Escobar, who has 1.6 million followers, shared a clip of himself making a giant Oreo tower. He captioned it: “Like for the sheer amount of calories I ate.”
He revealed how to make the most out of a single pack of cookies and used the Most Stuf variety which possesses even more filling than the regular versions.
Gabriel himself builds the stack, set to Rachel Platten’s Fight Song. After sandwiching together the giant cookies, he then eats the stack – in one go.
