A mom has allegedly killed her own son by mercilessly smashing his little head against his crib because the baby kept crying.
Yekaterina started beating her one-year-old son Vanya because his cries were “making her annoyed.”
The tragic incident took place at the 22-year-old’s family home in a village on the north-western part of Moscow.
According to the police report, the baby’s dad found him lying unconscious on the floor with blood pouring out from his mouth.
Yekaterina took the baby out of the cot after he woke up and started crying.
She first tried to calm him down, but eventually got irritated and slapped the baby’s head with her palm.
The baby continued crying and it was when the monstrous woman picked him by the legs, smashing him against the cot before tossing him to the floor.
Her 21-year-old partner Denis, who was smoking in the balcony at the time, rushed to his room after he heard the noise.
After seeing his son covered in blood, he took the baby to a hospital where he was admitted to an ICU.
The infant was in a coma, and despite all efforts from the medics, he died within one week without gaining back his consciousness.
According to local media, a postmortem found the baby had passed away from severe injuries to his brain after “being hit with an object several times.”
The baby’s mom, who is currently six months pregnant with her second child, confessed to killing Vanya a few days after the incident, saying he was “crying and making her annoyed,” Denis told the police.
Owing to her pregnancy, she has not been arrested.
Speaking to local media, Denis’s mother Marina said: ”Yekaterina did not feed the boy in time and he cried a lot.
”I talked to her and she does not have any regrets about what she had done.
“She does not care that she killed her child. She said she is fed up with having a pregnant belly and that she wants to be jailed rather than taken in a maternity hospital.”
Denis has planned to get separated from Yekaterina after his next baby is born and he takes its custody.
