Panari, who was seated close to a crying baby on a flight, has been slammed for saying she would much rather sit near an animal.

“I’d agree more with allowing pets inside the airplane cabin rather than babies,” the post reads.

She deleted the post after only five minutes, but it was recorded and shared before going viral, and she was quickly flooded with comments from parents accusing her of insensitivity.

“I immediately deleted my story,” Angela told the news outlet Detikhot. “The story was up for less than five minutes but some people captured it already.”

She said that she was bashed by several parents for being insensitive on the flight and many added that she herself could be a mother someday and so should be sympathetic and compassionate.

“Before you were big, you were a baby too,” one user commented. “Do you want to be left at home? Then your parents could invite animals? Think.”

The 24-year-old later apologized for her controversial post in an Instagram message and said she acted out of frustration because the baby had cried during the entire trip.

“I apologize for the mistake I made because of my emotions,” Panari wrote. “I was angered so I posted that story. I promise not to repeat this kind of behavior again and I took this as a lesson.”

The model also added that she felt bad about the post as she sees the exhausted mom during the flight and understood how stressed she must have been.

“I took pity on her because she seemed so stressed out and her baby was still hysterical,” she said.
