Two Passengers Miraculously Escaped From A School Bus Crash


Video footage has emerged that shows two passengers miraculously escaping from a school bus crash.

Footage from inside a school bus, which belonged to Ryan International School in Bannerghatta, Karnataka, India, shows a little boy and an adult supervisor named Sathyavathi thrown around the bus, slamming off the ceiling during the deadly bus crash.

The adult supervisor Sathyavathi, who is the driver Gopal’s wife, then picked herself up and helped the child escape the bus crash.

CCTV from the street shows the bus driving along a road when a small vehicle pulls into its side.

The huge yellow bus skids across the carriageway, flipping over the road.

Driver Gopal said: “I do not know why the driver of the other vehicle is still at large and he was not able to control the vehicle. I have yet to come out from the shock as I was stuck between the steering and driver’s seat for a while.”

“Passersby rescued me by pulling the seat”, he added.

The little boy and the adult supervisor managed the escape the deadly bus crash.

The video of their astonishing escape from the deadly bus crash was posted online and it instantly went viral.

The video received thousands of comments praising the woman for her quick thinking.

One user wrote: ‘Hats off to the attendant lady for keeping her senses despite the accident and attending to the child immediately. Also, this illustrates the need & significance of child-friendly seat belts in these school buses.’

Another user said: ‘God bless that woman.. she jumped straight into the action with that child.. God bless’.

Some suggested buses should have seatbelts to avoid such accidents but one user shared why they can’t have seatbelts. The user wrote: ‘I drive a bus and you can’t put seat belts on them in case of a fire that happens a lot more than this … it take 3 minutes to evacuate the bus in case of a real fire the driver can not try to help all the little ones that can not take them off themselves.’
