The boy held up a rudely shaped vegetable he’d apparently found among the groceries, before opening his mouth in surprise as he realized he had a slightly larger audience than expected.

Carmel turned around and attempted to grab the carrot from him, but her son laughed and snatched it away, before gleefully holding it up again for everyone to see.

In the viral online, the TV host could be heard laughing as the minister tries to remove the carrot from the shot. The two “wrestled” with the “deformed carrot” for a while, as the boy tried to show it on camera a second time before leaving the room.

The clip has been viewed more than 56,000 times and amassed 5,000 likes, making for another superb addition to the many at-home interview blunders involving children.

The mom wrote while sharing the video: “That moment when you’re doing a LIVE interview via Zoom and your son walks into the room shouting and holding a deformed carrot shaped like a male body part.”

She continued: “Yes, we were almost wrestling over a carrot on camera, and yes, I’m laughing about it now but wasn’t at the time!”
