A millionaire has returned to his brand-new Porsche Panamera only to discover that it was spray-painted on the hoodie and over the side doors.
The bright blue $90,000 sports car belongs to Abdul Ilyas who allegedly left the vehicle parked in London overnight when the incident happened.
Abdul is a 21-year-old businessman and the owner of Blu Capital Education, a prospering social media agency.
According to the young entrepreneur, his Porsche was spray-painted just days after his BMW M4 got stolen right outside his mother’s home in Derby, UK.
“I think it is jealousy. I think it is hate. People can’t stand others being successful,” Abdul said in an interview with The Sun.
Saying that this “really isn’t my week,” the 21-year-old added that his other car must have gotten stolen by thieves who closely monitor his social media activity to know where and when he will be at a certain time.
“Whoever did it must have seen that I was going on holiday on social media and through that it was the right moment to steal it,” he said.
“We had a look around to see if it was caught on camera but so far we’ve not been able to find anything. It’s a convertible BMW M4. I bought it for the summer and I’ve only had it for three months. There must be someone out there who knows something.”
The recent car spray-painting incident, while of an independent nature, closely resembles last year’s case in which millionaire Lak Sira found his gold Porsche with disturbing words painted on it.
Later on, however, it was found that Sira’s car wasn’t really vandalized and that it was all a publicity stunt that helped him get more views and followers.
