Despite tying the knot back in 1992, the couple appears to be happier than ever as they shared romantic messages and photos with each other on Twitter.

“Like the Beatles said: It’s getting better all the time. Thanks, babe, for 27 amazing years,” Mr. Obama wrote in his post.

“27 years ago, this guy promised me a life full of adventure. I’d say he’s delivered. Here’s to our next chapter of becoming empty nesters and discovering what’s next – while still feeling the magic that brought us together all those years ago. Happy anniversary, Barack,” Mrs. Obama responded.

In her post and several recent interviews, Michelle has admitted that the couple is getting used to living without their daughters by their side as both Sasha and Malia are already in college.

While the couple may have become empty nesters, their love for each other continues to bloom and inspire the people around them.
