Flirty messages from Hunter Biden’s young secretary when he went into business with a man he called the ‘spy chief of China’ have been revealed.
According to reports, the Chinese-American assistant, JiaQi Bao, sent flirty texts and opposition research for Joe Biden’s White House run.
She also encouraged him to draw funds from accounts of the company after the joint venture collapsed.
It was in 2017 when Hunter went into business with the secretary-general of Chinese oil giant CEFC, Patrick Ho.
In a call recording on his laptop, he described Ho as the ‘spy chief of China.’ The Chinese businessman was then investigated by US law enforcement before he was convicted of bribery in 2018.
After Hunter launched a multi-million-dollar joint venture with CEFC, he was assigned a secretary, JiaQi Bao, who immediately struck up an intriguing relationship with him.
Initial emails show the 29-year-old assistant diligently scheduled flights, doctor’s appointments, and hotels for Hunter.
But she mysteriously sent him opposition research to help his father’s 2020 election bid, urging him to take money from the joint venture’s accounts as the company collapsed.
She also sent personal and flirty messages to the president’s son.
“Hey Hunter! How are you?” one of the messages reads. “I just got a message from Mervyn about your inquiry of your necklace. I still have it locked in my drawer at my NY apartment, as promised to safekeep it for you.
“I’m out of town at the moment. I will reach out to you and return it along with a document bag I had prepared for you as soon as I get back to NYC. Take care and catch up soon :). Miss you, JiaQi.”
It is not clear whether the secretary was aware of Hunter’s partner’s alleged links to the intelligence services at that time.
