First Lady Melania Trump is considering writing a White House memoir and her husband is said to be encouraging her to take the opportunity.
Melania is reportedly holding meetings on a potential book deal to share about her time in the White House, a source revealed to Page Six.
According to the insider, Melania was “not done, or going as quietly as you might expect” and wanted to earn money “on her own.”
“Melania is in meetings to write her White House memoir,” a source said to Page Six. “And it would be her money – a chance for her to earn on her own.”
President Donald Trump is said to be encouraging his wife to write the book.
Melania’s ex-best friend and adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff recently released an explosive book ‘Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.’
Wolkoff’s book revealed embarrassing details about Melania and shared claims of a bitter rivalry between her and Ivanka Trump.
She also claims that the first lady plotted to keep her stepdaughter out of pictures of Trump during his inauguration in a scheme she called ‘Operation Block Ivanka.’
Wolkoff also recorded numerous conversations with the first lady and played some of it during her book tour.
In one of the audio clips, Melania can be heard making weary comments about having to decorate the White House.
Last month, Melania wrote an essay for the White House website and branded her ex-best friend a ‘dishonest opportunist’ who ‘clung’ to her for fame.
She also said that the audio clips were taken ‘out of context’ and the book was ‘idle gossip.’
The person who said she “’made me’ even though she hardly knew me, and someone who clung to me after my husband won the Presidency,” the first lady wrote.
