Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the royal family will be dramatized fot a TV movie produced by Lifetime.
This would be the third movie that Lifetime has made about the couple.
With a working title of Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace, the made for TV movie will focus on why the couple decided to sever their ties with the Royal family in all ways except personal. The movie is set to begin with the birth of the youngest royal, Archie.
The casting for the movie remains unknown as of this writing. In previous movies about the couple, Parisa Fitz-Henley and Tiffany Smith played Markle, while Murray Fraser and Charlie Field portrayed Prince Harry.
As with all other movie and TV productions, there are no set deadlines or specific plans because of the novel coronavirus. Thus, Lifetime did not announce when the shooting will begin nor a release date for the finished film.
Anyone even slightly interested with the royal family was surprised when the couple announced earlier this year that they will financially separate from royalty and spend equal time in North America. It has been reported that no other family members were aware beforehand of this Instagram announcement.
For weeks, the media reported on supposed conflicts between Prince Harry and Prince William. With no definitive answer given, Harry and Meghan finished their final engagements as active royalty in a service that was held at Westminster Abbey.
Within weeks, the couple and their son Archie first relocated to Vancouver, and currently resides in Los Angeles. They are said to be quarantining in comedian Tyler Perry’s mansion, as they look for residence in the area.
Last week, the couple celebrated Archie’s first birthday on a Zoom conference with all their loved ones. A video that Harry filmed of Meghan and Archie excited many royal enthusiasts who found great similarities between Archie and his father when he was that age.
Whether the royal family approves of this production is currently unknown. Media sources had previously reported that many were supposedly uncomfortable with previous productions about the couple.
