39-year-old Meghan Markle’s lookalike has volunteered to attend events on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex.
The mother-of-two Akeisha Land from Missouri stole everyone’s attention after she created an Instagram account for her toddler and shared her pictures with her daughter.
Akeisha says people often mistake her for Meghan Markle and even her close friends and family think she looks exactly like her.
Akeisha jokingly said she would love to volunteer to attend events on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex.
She told the Daily Mail: “I’ll have random people coming up and saying ‘has anyone ever told you that you look like… I always giggle before they even finish saying who because I know exactly who they’re going to say because I’ve heard it so much; especially recently since I’ve been wearing my hair straight.”
She says she herself doesn’t see the similarities but takes it as a huge compliment as she thinks Meghan is gorgeous.
“Even my close friends and family say I look like her and even though I myself don’t see the similarities, I definitely take it as a huge compliment as she’s just drop dead gorgeous”, she added.
Akeisha says she always jokingly say that she is ready to volunteer to attend events on behalf of Meghan if she doesn’t want to go to any of the events.
She said: “I always joke and say I need to have someone reach out to her people to let them know I’m always up for filling in for her as her doppelgänger if she doesn’t want to go to any of the events she’s invited to.point 426 |
