Meghan Markle and her son Archie reportedly spoke with the Queen as her Majesty continues to mourn the loss of her husband, Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh.
According to People, a source informed them that Meghan and the Queen are back on speaking terms whereas the two had a chat ahead of Prince Philip’s Saturday funeral.
“Meghan spoke with Harry before his grandfather’s funeral. Meghan and Archie also spoke with the Queen earlier this week,” the source told the publication.
The royal insider went on to claim that Meghan was also in touch with her husband, Prince Harry, every day since he left their California home to attend his grandfather’s funeral.
“Meghan and Harry have been in touch every day. She knows the trip to England has been difficult for Harry,” the source added.
“He didn’t want to leave Meghan and Archie alone. Meghan has insisted to him every day though that they are fine. She hasn’t wanted him to worry.”
While the past year has been difficult for the Royal Family, another source told People that now is that right time for the family members to reconnect due to the loss they all suffered.
“The Duke was the head of the family, and if there were any time they were going to come together, it’s now,” they said.
The reports come shortly after it was alleged that Prince Harry already returned to Montecito after he was pictured leaving a private terminal at LAX and later again near his home.
